Three new products from Texas Instruments offer a complete USB Type-C solution at both ends of the cable. According to Roland Sperlich, the three products are: integrated USB PD controller TPS65982, USB Type-C crosspoint switch HD3SS460, and USB Type-C configuration channel (CC) logic and support for USB2.0 port control. Among them, the TPS65982 integrated PD controller and power switch provide power and data in multiple alternate modes.
